Reading and Reviewing: July Edition

*・゜Currently Reading*・゜

This month is going to be a bit light on the reading because I’m in the process of moving. I’ve fallen behind in what I want to read and review, so I’m going to need to kick it into high gear if I want to finish my goals by the end of the year! I’m hoping that once things settle down I’ll be able to get back into reading two or more books a week.

I actually got a lot of my wishes granted! Originally I had The Rattled Bones on this list, but as you can see, it moved! I’m hoping I get this last one granted.

My review for The Epic Crush of Genie Lo has already been published, so check that out if you’re interested in a Chinese protagonist who discovers she has powers! It’s a bit different than other power stories I’ve read. Emma in the Night is an adult novel about a narcissistic mother and how that’s affected her two daughters. It’s told in the points of view of a daughter and the forensic psychologist who studied them. I’m finishing up The Last Magician in the next couple of days and will have the review out before its release date! I love this one so far!
